Jennifer grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia with a large family scattered throughout the Maritime provinces. She has since planted her roots in Northumberland County with her Husband and two bulldogs.
After completing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree at York University, Jennifer completed the Paralegal Graduate Certificate program at Durham College and subsequently obtained a paralegal license from the Law Society of Ontario. After working as a paralegal in both the not for profit and private sectors, Jennifer decided to go back to school to obtain her law degree.
Prior to attending law school, Jennifer gained experience in the real estate field by working in a large multi-office real estate brokerage and for a legal software company where she focused primarily on customizing real estate documents for small and medium sized law firms.
Jennifer attended law school at Queen’s University where she graduated as the Dean’s Bronze Scholar in 2019 and was the recipient of the Brown and Partners LLP Scholarship and the Queen’s Law prize in Insurance Law. She completed her articles at a full service law firm in Belleville where her focus was mainly on Real Estate law which continues to be the primary focus of her practice.
When she’s not in the office, you can find Jennifer avidly following the Dallas Stars and Dallas Cowboys, playing with her dogs, and being outdoors.
